چکیده

In order to predict the variations of the channel ionic resistance with time, we follow the framework proposed by Taylor and Aris to analyze our results. We consider here a channel of radius R, length L, and the diffusion coefficient of the salt in the solution is D. Solving the Navier-Stokes equation for a cylindrical channel, under the assumption of no-slip boundary condition, the velocity profile reads:

A Theoretical Analysis of Metric Hypothesis Transfer Learning Supplementary Material

This supplementary material is organised into three parts. In the first two parts we respectively state the proofs of the onaverage and uniform stability analysis. In the last part, we show that the specific loss presented in the paper is k-lipschitz. For the sake of readability we start by recalling our setting. Let T be a training set drawn from a distribution DT over X × Y . We consider the ...

Maximum Likelihood Estimation in Log-Linear Models Supplementary Material

This document contains supplementary material to the article “Maximum Likelihood Estimation in LogLinear Models” by S.E. Fienberg and A. Rinaldo, henceforth referred to as FR. In section 2 we provide the proofs to some of the results announced in the article. Throughout, we assume familiarity with basic notions of polyhedral geometry: see Ziegler (1998), Schrijver (1998) and Rockafellar (1970) ...
